Head downtown for Spokane Street Music Week
This is the ninth year that columnist Doug Clark of The Spokesman-Review is calling on all buskers to join him for Spokane Street Music Week. Look for them during the noon hour each day through Friday this week, performing on downtown sidewalks while collecting donations in their red buckets to help Second Harvest feed people in need. Last year's event was a huge success, raising enough money to provide more than 16,800 meals for our hungry neighbors. If you can't make it downtown this week, but want to contribute to the cause, you can donate securely online and check the box that indicates your gift is in honor of Spokane Street Music Week. Our thanks to Doug Clark, The Spokesman-Review and the local entertainers who make this musical feast all about feeding hungry people.
