The City of Seattle Human Services Department (HSD) is seeking investment applications from agencies interested in providing food and meals to low income individuals and families who experience food insecurity. Up to $3,125,714 in HSD General Fund dollars will be available through this Request for Investment (RFI) for the period of January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015.
Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an RFI Information Session(s): Tuesday, August 5, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Northgate Community Center, 10510 5th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125 and/or Wednesday, August 6, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the 2100 Building, Community Rooms A and B, 2100 24th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144. Questions and answers from the information sessions will be made available on this website.
All applications must be received in person, by mail, or electronic submission by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2014. Applications must be received and date/time stamped by this deadline or they will not be considered. No faxed or e-mailed applications will be accepted.
